Designing for Impact: A Data-Driven Approach

Development funding is scarce, and the demand for impact is higher than ever. Yet, many programs fail to deliver lasting change because they are based on assumptions rather than evidence.

The Logframe Fallacy

While logical frameworks (logframes) are standard in program design, they are often treated as rigid roadmaps. Real-world development is non-linear. Successful program design builds in flexibility for adaptive management, allowing teams to pivot based on real-time data and feedback loops.

Sustainability by Design

Sustainability cannot be an afterthought; it must be designed into the program's DNA. This means identifying local partners and incentives from day one. If the program incentives disappear when the funding stops, the program was flawed from the start. We prioritize market-based solutions where local actors have a financial interest in continuing the activities.
